About SMS Farms
What is SMS Farms?
SMS Farms is a managed farm membership in Gadap, Karachi. Families join through a membership package, our team runs the farm, and members receive a share of the food it produces.
Where is the farm?
The farm is in Gadap, Karachi, Pakistan.
Do I need farming experience?
No. Our team handles all the farm work, including crops, animals and daily upkeep.
Membership and Pricing
What packages are available?
There are three packages. Silver is for households of up to 4 members, Gold is for up to 6 members, and Premium is for more than 6 members.
How much does membership cost?
Silver has a one-time initial contribution of PKR 150,000 and a monthly fee of PKR 20,000. Gold has a one-time initial contribution of PKR 200,000 and a monthly fee of PKR 25,000. Premium has a one-time initial contribution of PKR 250,000 and a monthly fee of PKR 35,000.
Note: Current prices will remain unchanged for the first 12 months. After this period, the share fee and monthly fee may increase or decrease depending on the farm's actual monthly operating expenses. Members will be informed in advance before any price change.
What does the monthly fee pay for?
It helps cover the farm's running costs, including workers and staff, electricity, water, animal feed, medicines and animal care, general maintenance, delivery charges, weekly packaging and other daily expenses.
How much food will my family receive?
Package quantities and the farm's production capacity are explained in detail during your farm visit so you can understand the available products and arrangements.
Will I own part of the farm?
Before you sign any documentation, we will explain the farm's ownership arrangements, relevant documents and applicable terms so you understand the arrangement.
Farm Visits
Can I visit before joining?
Yes. Your first farm visit is completely free. Please inform us at least one week in advance so your visit can be arranged.
How often can members visit?
Each member family can visit the farm once a month.
What is the complimentary meal?
During a member family's farm visit, a complimentary breakfast, lunch or dinner is provided. This benefit applies to the visit and is not part of home delivery.
Produce and Delivery
What does the farm produce?
The farm produces seasonal vegetables and fruits, mutton, beef, farm chicken and eggs. Duck, quail, fish, honey and coconut are coming soon.
Is every item available all year?
No. Produce follows the seasons and our yearly calendar, so what is available changes through the year.
Do you deliver?
Yes. Home delivery is included in your monthly package, so there is no separate delivery charge. Please share your area to confirm the applicable delivery arrangement.
